My love for radio began with college radio and broadcasts on KCSB when I was a student at UCSB. I was able to go pro when I came to Europe in 1992 and started working for the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF). Find me on FM4, presenting your morning news.

After years in front of the microphone, getting in front of the camera and broadcasting to a global audience brought a great new mix of skills and challenges. New opportunities to use those skills as a media trainer have allowed me to be based in Vienna full-time. But you can still see me pop up for special broadcasts as a correspondent on DWtv.

To get better
Triathlon is the well I go to refresh my mind and body. I love the competition, the community, and the time for contemplation during the long hours of swimming, biking, running and recovery. My journey has taken me to several Ironman World Championships. The goals achieved, as well as setbacks suffered along the way, have provided some of my most valuable life learnings and kept me aware of the people and priorities that really matter in life.
